  2. I was scammed and was successful in having the scammer prosecuted. I opted to only open a criminal case. It didn't cost me a cent but it did cost a lot of my time. The result was well worth it and part of the sentencing includes the scammer having to repay me in full or face jail time. My amount was way too big to pursue via the Small Claims Court. DeniseD, I know you mentioned you have legal assistance already but you're welcome to contact me privately if you'd like some advice on opening a fraud case. You can open a civil as well as a criminal case.

I can't figure out who is on the ladies podium because of malfunctioning trackers. No updates on the Munga FB page either.

Pierre withdrew early this morning. Said he was feeling sick. An ambo picked him up and dropped him in Britstown.

  13. Great memorial for Barry!
  14. The passengers were all from the same cruise ship. The bigger aircraft apparently descended and collided with the smaller aircraft which was below it. The two missing passengers have been located, both deceased. I think at least one, if not more, of the deceased passengers had emigrated from South Africa but it wasn't reported in the media. (Edit: Media has confirmed the South African connection. https://www.thestar.com/vancouver/2019/05/15/bc-woman-and-her-family-members-killed-in-alaska-sea-plane-crash.html) I followed the details of this crash very closely as I'd flown with one of the airlines involved on the same sightseeing trip.

  17. I use table salt to prevent snails and slugs getting to my veggies. I sprinkle a thick layer around the border of the garden. Try to avoid sprinkling too much salt in the soil and/or over the plants.
  18. Go ahead and plant them. I planted the Checkers Little Garden onions, leek, cauliflower, Swiss chard, cabbage, rocket, cherry tomatoes, lettuce etc about a month ago and they've grown a lot since then. I planted the radish into the big bowl you can see in the photo and I've already harvested some.
  19. Definitely join a group. I was in Wierdabrug police station recently and a guy was busy opening a case. He had been cycling and was robbed by a knife-wielding thug on Ruimte Road.

    Tacx I-Magic

I used to have an I-Magic. The drivers were only compatible with my old XP machine. What operating system are you trying to set it up on? Is it a 32 bit machine or 64 bit? I came across my old installation disc recently when I moved offices. Will try locate it tomorrow and see what version it is.
  21. My opinion is that it depends on the height of your wife. If she is short like I am (I'm 5'3") then a ladies-specific bike does sometimes make a difference. I battled to find a unisex bicycle that was small enough for me. It isn't necessarily the frame geometry that is different. Sometimes it is crank length, handlebar width etc too. Best would be for her to test the various options and see which one she feels most comfortable riding.
  22. Here's a better photo of the bike (taken from Centurion Concerned Citizens FB page):
  23. Area is too big for egg shells. I unfortunately work so won't be able to supervise the chicken.
