Not far from San Lameer is the Beaver Creek coffee estate and adjacent Clearwater Trails. Basically travel south to the Port Edward intersection then turn right (inland) and follow the signs. Nice trail riding of similar standard to the Karkloof and Howick trails. Safe parking, coffee shops etc.

You should enjoy the 30km blue route and do all the black options. Some awesome views too.

If you have family with you that don't ride they can entertain themselves at the nearby wildlife rehab centre or take the coffee making tour at Beaver Creek which also has a nice coffee shop and restaurant. Booking advisable.

Yea that place is awesome! Beaver creek's standards have dropped a bit tho but still a lekker place to relax after the ride.

Ps. Drive on for a bit past clearwater, there is a nature reserve further on. Also awesome veiws.

The Blue Trail at Clearwaters is 20km long, lots of little jumps been added. Stay off the Black Trail though, it hasn't been maintained and is overgrown and unsafe. Rather do laps of the Blue.

Rode the blue and black trails just 2 weeks ago. No issues. They have added a few mild jumps in one or two places.
