What BB do I have?

Even if you were able to swop the chain rings alone, you often find that a new crankset is cheaper than buying 3 new chain rings.

i Dont want to go 3 x I want to go to 1 X Thats why i need to purchase a new crank was just anting some advice on whick crank set that also has the right chain line

I think this upgrade will be frustrating, as you say it's 8 speed?

 

1 speed without a decent ring upfront and a clutch deraileur could be frustrating?   Not sure they make 8 speed rear mech's with a clutch?

I will Be Changing the rear Completely aswell i Have already Got the 10 Spd derailleur

and cassette and chain im doing it bit by bit as the budget allows so now im looking for the best Deal on the Front
