The missus is keen to give it a go but hasn't cycled before and doesn't want to break the bank. Anyone got a decent bike suggestion? The Scott Contessa iis great but very pricey.... The key is i want her to enjoy it as much as possible so she gets more keen!
Ratty Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 You don't have to go ladies specific for a first bike just make sure you can get a bike that fits her properly. You MUST get her a ladies specific saddle though !

porqui Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Go 2nd hand - if she likes go for it. If she no like - resale value pretty much the same. Also better specs and value 2nd hand. (If she is small then a ladies specific bike is better - goemetery is better suited).
