Where to buy cheap rear shock

I'm helping a buddy with a wheelchair design for his nephew and we're looking at using a rear MTB shock. This will not see the kind of abuse generally seen by MTBs, so we can get away with using something on the budget end of the spectrum. Searching online doesn't yield many results. Do you guys have any ideas where to look online or in Cape Town?
