Garmin connect to discovery - not getting active rewards points

I have been having this issue now for 5 weeks, my Garmin syncs to Garmin connect fine, it sync to the discovery app ( shows synced) but no active rewards points get allocated.

Each week I have to send screenshots and after a massive back and forth I get some points.

My Garmin is up to date

Garmin connect and Discovery app are up to date

I have delinked and re lync multiple times

 

 

Who else is in the same boat?  Discovery pretend it’s a new unique issue every time.

I've also had the same issue, and literally just managed to get it reconnected.

 

I think it might be a cache/cookies related issue. What I did was opened up an incognito tab in Chrome, then logged into Garmin Connect, went to Account Settings, Account Information and de-linked all the Discovery things.

 

Then still in incognito, logged into Discovery and managed to link to Garmin Connect. Wahoo!

 

Edit: Nevermind I see yours is connected.

 

Edit 2: My activities have pulled through and rewards have been retroactively awarded.

 

Edit 3: And now it automatically picked up an activity I uploaded after re-connecting, so now I'm not gonna touch anything.

Had problems a few times with the Discovery app not syncing properly on the Samsung phone. Happens after an update to the Discovery app, solved this by removing the Discovery app and reinstalling. It shows as synced, but is only syncing the Steps from the Samsung health app, not the cycling and heart rate stuff.

 

Last time I had to install and remove the Discovery app twice the solve the problem. Now it works. When you remove the Discovery app you don't lose any data.
