Best way to have a bicycle delivered

Hi guys,

 

I recently purchased a Bicycle in CT and am residing in JHB. I need to have the bike transported up to JHB and wanted some advise on the best way to do this and some recommendations for companies to use. 

 

My obvious concerns are:
1) Bike being damaged whilst in transit

2) Bike being stolen whilst in transit.

I shipped a bike from CPT to JHB in Jan. Friend took it to Complete Cyclist in Houtbay and they shipped it to Bryanston branch. Packed in a box with foam sleeves around the frame. Think they charged me R600
