Battery vs USB lights

Quick one...

Just bought some lights for the early morning rides.

Front light is a Blackburn Local 50.

I just noticed that it's battery powered as opposed to USB chargeable

Any marked differences in terms of how long it will last and power? The blurb on the box says 26hr at full output for 50 lumen output at max brightness.

Aside from regular battery changes which are 3 AA's

Annoying when they come in packs of 2 or 4..

Just get rechargable AA batteries?

I personally have always been using lights with integrated rechargeable batteries, and prefer them...

But, using AA gives you the option of buying batteries anywhere if your in a pinch, or ever need to extend battery life, without significant additional financial cost
