My immediate future sees me riding from Bloem to Paarl, in just under 5 days if all goes to plan. And it is costing a wee bit of money, but trying to keep costs down!

Being that you're next to Everest the headwinds are marked in the map - they permanently blow up towards you (and towrds the big summits) between 3500 and 4500 m.

 

Also remembering the trip there were shops in the villages along the way, but the only thing at the top was a park ranger station and a KNOCKSHOP.

I know that there are great ascents there with huge heightdifference :) 

And in Chile and / or Venezuela too. :) But maybe in Chile and venezuela those roads aren't paved to the top / summit / pass.

In Hawaii I slept in camp grounds and by / in Airbnb accomodations. 
In the US / Colorado too. But for me it was a bucketlist tour, so I had known that it wouldn't be cheap.
