Scalpel Si Shock Link Problems ?

Hi All Scalpel Si Owners,

 

Have any of you experienced lateral play on the chainstay where it links to the Shock Link ?

 

I found the info on MTBR. Seems like it is tolerance issue than can be resolved by adding poly-lube and thereby

enabling the parts to "pull together" correctly . According to this post the factory is shipping the bikes with zero lubrication in this area.

I hope this is not a design issue that is going to cause problems long term. 

 

On the post it was mentioned that the HABIT has a similar issues.
