Oversized pulleys for MTB

So, seeing the whole ceramicspeed oversized pulley craze that saves you minuscule watts on the road. Why isnt this a thing in mtb, where chain tensions and angles are more extreme, not to mention the advent of 1x and smaller front chainrings, that cause even more chain drag.

 

Can I get say a 18 tooth or 16 tooth pulley for my sram long cage RD?

You want to save minuscule watts? Rather follow Choppers advice:

 

 

That said the new sram eagle has a larger pulley if that excites you.
