Buying my first bike.

I am considering buying a entry level mountain bike. Something to ride on weekends, maybe the occational race. I quite like the Titan (Peak) range, anybody have any experience with them? Is it a good buy for a first bike?

The Titan will be fine to start out with, just make sure to get the right size bike.

Titan makes very good value for money bikes.

 

My advice would however be to have yourself measured (for the correct size) and possibly just scan the second hand market for a month or so. You might be able to get a much higher spec second hand bike for the same price as the Titan new. Keep in mind it is silly season and many people will be looking to sell their old bikes and upgrade.
