Dont advertise pics, place add on Gumtree and OLX, asking what colour, components, known markings, serial no etc. To much skelms out there.
Skinnyone Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Problem with taking it to the cop shop (albiet the right thing to do in a civilized country) is that the cop will gladly take it in, make you fill out a form of some sorts and the bike gets dumped in a storage room among other recovered goods, stuff gets piled on top of it etc. In short it will get scratched and messed up. If no one claims it in a year (could be longer) it goes onto a clearance auction and sold off to the highest bidder... rather try and find the owner thru the facebook channels etc - someone (as well as many others I'm sure) will come forward to claim it.
