Riding to Parys

I am keen to get some serious distance knocked off Rapha 500 on Monday 26th so looking for route suggestions to Parys. I have chosen Parys as a destination because as far as I know its a nice long flat road and I know there are cycling groups that often do this ride. I would be open to other suggestions on other routes that match the long, flat criteria

Not sure what route would be best, but from Fochville to parys is anything but flat. Cradle to carltonville has long drags and false flats.

I rode from the Cradle - Valverde Hotel - to Parys earlier this year. 144km with 1687m of ascent. 

 

Route was Cradle - Krugersdorp - Randfontein - we joined the R501 late as it's quite busy - Carltonville - Fochville - Parys.

 

As lil to the Lefty suggested, the C'ville ride onwards has a variety of troublesome hills - nothing too hectic, but not flat that's for sure. Having said that, it was a very nice ride and to be met by friends in Parys for lunch and a beer who then drove us back to JHB, was delightful!
