Aurora Posted January 7, 2017 Share I have just got a set of Vittoria 25c road tyres that I have fitted to a set of Campy Eurus 2-way fit wheels. On the flats, the setup works perfectly. As soon as i stand up to sprint or climb, the tyre rubs on the frame just behind the rear brake caliper. It has got to a point now where I have reverted back to a 23c rear tyre. Anybody else have any experience with this? I have read that the frame accepts 25c tyres so just wondering what might be causing this issue. V12man Posted January 7, 2017 Share Perhaps the wheel spoke tension needs checking
Thomo Posted January 7, 2017 Share Not all frames can take 25 and bigger. But that sounds more like a dodgy wheel, or a wheel not suited to your power.
Dee1 Posted January 7, 2017 Share I have tbe FP3 with 25mm. Rear clearance is perfect at 8 bar but on the front I only get around 2mm clearance at 7.5. Have considered going back to 23mm.
bikebloke Posted January 7, 2017 Share could the issue not possibly be your wheelset and tire combo the internal diameter of your wheels and your inflation value can affect the amount of distortion of your tire under load (sprinting ,fast hard cornering etc ) your Eurus 2-way fit wheelset is designed for a specific setup therefore if you deviate from the specific setup and tire choices the tire you are using may not seat correctly or it may distort enough under load to touch your frame the psi you run it at may affect this also I had a similar annoying thing with my de rosa and a set of wheels and tires I got for training - it may not be your frame that's at fault but hey what do I know anyways Edited January 7, 2017 by bikebloke
PierreeeeeLam Posted March 16, 2017 Share Hi, seems I encountered the same. I have 2 dogmas1) Dogma 22) Dogma F8Both are in Size CC500 Every time I use 25C tyres, the rear clearance are very less and because the tyres are not very well in balance and some of it will touch the rear top or the stay. The example are also fall into this issue 1) Camp Bullet with GP4000S2 25C2) Racing Zero carbon with 25C pro one tubeless. (I modify it) But I seems found there is not all Dogma encounter this issue and pnly size 500 will have this issue. Is your size is CC500?
