nich the d Posted February 13, 2017 Share Does anyone have any knowledge / experience of the Momsen AL229 Racing? https://momsenbikes.com/bikes/hardtail-alloy/al229-racing/#bike-specs I can't find any reviews - only of the AL229 which is a different bike and about R6000 less in price. The fork is a RockShox RECON Silver Air Suspension Fork – Solo Air with 100mm Travel. Is this any good... I'm looking for a bike for Tokai, Greenbelt etc Perhaps some shortish 'races' All replies appreciated...
Grease_Monkey Posted February 13, 2017 Share I don't have any experience with this model, but the spec looks very good, and you can't go wrong with Momsen! Great value for money, great brand, and really good after sales service!

BrandonF_ Posted May 19, 2017 Share I've just bought my wife this bike, as an 'upgrade' from a 26er. It's a bloody well spec'd bike for R12900 from "Bike-Addict" in Malmesbury, which included a Tubeless conversion and a Bike set-up #nobrainer
