Ja.. good call there.. I had a few doubts..but really happy for the kid.. what a likable Frenchman.

I am liking Alaphilippe chances to win the GC at the end, he has a very strong team with him.

 

 

The pure climbers will likely kick his boom-boom though in the high mountains.

He is definitely the young rider to watch of this race

I felt great coming in, my training went well and form was good. This time trial was made for me, it was really fast at start and it had the climb at end. I felt a bit of extra pressure. I knew I was going well on the course, but I had no idea I was going to win.
