Taking a Fox 34 Float performance elite 130mm to a 140 mm fork

Hello everyone, I have a MTB with a 130mm fork, I was told by the shop that it can be increased to a 140mm fork.

Is this just for show or does it really work?,

Would I be losing out on something if I do this?

or would I be better off getting a 140mm fork?

You'll need to swap out the airshaft for a slightly longer one.

 

These can be ordered by most shops and fitted by competent mechanics , I see you're in KZN so it may very well be worth it to get in contact with Greg minaar cycles.

 

 

I'm assuming its A trail bike , and if yes 140mm is just going to make it more fun !
