CX 9sp rear wheel - suggestions please?

I would appreciate some advice please?

 

I need a rear wheel for my cx bike for road use only.  I have no idea what would suit my needs and what would be able to take rotors and a 9sp cassette. I thought of having my old road wheel converted but I am not sure of the stress factor when it comes to hydraulic braking?

 

I am 85kg and a mid pack rider so will not be needing any top end stuff.  Plan to run 25mm tires and am not sure what rim width would be best or suitable for my needs. 

 

Please could you guide me as what I should get?

What hub spacing does it have? 130 or 135?(I'm not clued up on cx bikes)

 

If 135, you could use a 29" mtb qr wheel

 I am currently using normal MTB 29 wheels (MT 55 and Kore) with QR but would like to have a "better" wheel for road purposes.

Aha..... You could perhaps have an mtb hub laced to a road rim?

Yip, thinking along those lines myself.  XT hub onto which rims is the problem.

Thought here might be a wheel builder to assist or even a wheel available here on the Hub?
