Clarens Marathon

Ashburton Mtb series in Clarens changes format to Two day race, but kills the awesome climbing route for those single day marathon riders. Farm roads, Jeep track, grass knodes with little climbing took one of the toughest and most enjoyable races to near on junk status. Hope they relook the route for next year as it's not worth the trip for a single marathon. I can ride terrain like that in JHB.

You should've stuck around for today!! All the goodness was back for the Sunday marathon!

As a roadie this race is way too technical for me!

Really suffered on the technical down hills today...haha

And this was my third year doing this race.

Really need to catch up on my skills and ride the broom stick handle bar bike more!
