ridr Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 The lights all seem to work ok. The battery quality makes a difference though. I don't know all the battery specs (lots of cycling forums dig deeper if you google it). Magicshine started using better batteries after the initial awful ones I had (lasted less than a year) - that was probably 8 years ago. Think they're BAK batteries now. I have a Samsung battery pack which is great in a neoprene pouch (nicer than the nylon) that came with some Xeccon lights. I've bought a few lights on special for the spare batteries. I also bought a really nice very different battery (flat cells in a water bottle) a few years back from someone on the hub - but I can't remember who I bought it from. (Edit - found it: Brighter-Lights) I had Battery Guys in Edenvale make a 2 cell battery for me at a good price from one of my dead batteries, which seems to still be going strong a few years down the line.
