I agree, but it can't control me. If I pedal harder and faster, then power will increase. I'm asking how does the machine prevent me from pushing more watts?

It will reduce the resistance on the roller as you increase the cadence and effort.  Eventually you will spin out.  But the machine will do what it can to keep the watt's at the set level.

I think the Tacx mobile app has a similar feature - but I've never used it.
