American Classic Victory 30 wheels

Been riding Fulcrum 5's on two bikes for some time but saw the American Classic Victory 30 wheels on special. Nothing wrong with the Fulcrums. In fact, I rate them pretty high but just itching to try something new

I've read that the hub/spline is not that good and starts to slip after not too many km's.

Anyone bought a set in the last year or so having problems? Would like to know if the wheels are ok. Not worried about the weight or aero performance but more about any issues regarding the hub/spline. The wheels look pretty decent but have never ridden anything else than Campy, Fulcrum or Shimano and happy with all 3.

Would Vic 30 be much of an upgrade on Fulcrum 5.?

Of course I also fully understand the itch for something new.

I've used CR420 and currently have a set of Argents ... no issues.

American Classic generally very underrated.

I run a pair of vic 30 on the idt and to save the race day wheels fulcrum zeros , picked it up at the argus specials frm cwc stall - xtermly impressed for the cash spent light weight n roll well - think they the best value deal For a entry level wheelset that will Def be betta than the box wheels shipped with mst bikes , ill even go sa far as too say a bugdet racewheell on a 2nd build too IMHO , but the jump frm a fulcrum 5 to this might nt be that big , maybe hold out for something better as atleast u not on box wheels

It's not so much about upgrading but more to try something different.

Glad to hear no one has had any issues with the vic 30's. Appreciate the info

Think I'm keen to try a set based on the positive comments.

Been looking at that VC30's too. I have 2 sets of AC wheels, the 350 Sprint and the 420 Aero. Very happy with both. I am just over 100k so worried about longivity as those wheels are both pretty light weight but I've been pleasantly surprised.

Love the way the AM wheels spin up and the light weight make climbing a bit easier. Anyway, the VC30 have less spokes, only reason (considering my weight) why I've avoided those. But regarding the hubs on mine, no issues.
