MTB Brake levers

Can any one help please.

 

My Giant Anthem,Shimano XT Brake levers are loose and rattling,can it be tightened ?

Never heard of "Giant Anthem Brakes"  What make are they?

 

Maybe then we could help but generally they can be tightened but NOT over tightened.

If the bar differs too much then spacers may have to be used but generally MTB brakes fit on MTB bars.
