Miyata were a Japanese frame building company. They built frames for the Dutch Koga company.

First 310 frames were straight CroMo tubes. They then changed to double busted tubes and last run in mid 1980's had triple butted tubing.

First run of bikes had hitensile steel forks and then changed to a Mag-Alloy mix.

Put a magnet on the fork and you'll have an idea of the age.

Load some pics of the bike.

In Europe at places like steel-vintage.com the Miyata's is quite popular with the vintage crowd from what I have seen on Instagram.

Pictures will be loaded soon. What i do know that it is Triple Butted *Molybedenum*

It is an aluminium alloy...used mainly in manufacture of missiles.

Apart from Japan bikes was manufactured in Netherlands.Bike was brought into South Africa

by a German National.
