FCH Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Two things happen here- one, if you respond in any manner; even if its to tell them to jog on, your email gets banked as an active email address; these mails are sent out by bots- it gathers email addresses and they sell it in bulk to mailing list companies. Secondly, they can use that info to start opening fake profiles and accounts in your name, will be pretty silly to ask for bank details and pin code- but sure their are intellectually challenged who will supply it.What exactly can they do with this information should someone be gullible enough to provide it?Most of that could bd found on a LinkedIn profile without much fuss
