Burry stander MTB park experience

I just have to share my experience today. Me and my SO went to Burry stander MTB park,unfortunately my wife came up with flu-ish symptoms and chose not to ride,but Burry's mom,mandie,arranged with one of the development riders Ndu to take me out for a ride(19yrs of age,2016 Kzn junior champ with a huge amount of potential). The experience was humbling to say the least. He took me out for a 30km ride with 700m elevation gain,gave me a proper workout which had my legs pumping (avg speed 18kph,HR 152bpm), and when we stopped at the new coffee shop, Tannie mandie had a cuppa with us,sharing stories and had a very nice chat. To anybody visiting KZN South coast, please visit and support Concept Cycles/Burry Stander MTB park,you will not be disappointed,the hospitality is amazing,and if possible, support the development riders, they are doing a amazing job supporting and developing local talent. Today I was truly in the house of a legend. R.I.P Burry.

She is very cool, when we were on holiday in July the shop wasn't open (Uncle Charles had gone to get stock) and I needed some lube ... She went and got me 2 sample bottles to get me through the rest of our time there!
