DJR Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I've carried mine on the roof of the Landy for more than a decade without any mishap, but then it is so high anyway, even without the bikes, that I cannot get into parking garages. When we do treed in roads, I have an old broken fishing rod with a red tip that I cable tie upright to the bullbar (a bit like the flagpole on the presidents' limo. It is the same height as the highest bike and it is then easy to know if you will slip through or not. I started doing this when I got tired of stopping to get out and check.
