Okay, so there is a great little fundraiser for my daughters school going down on the 14 October. It's going to be a real family picnic vibe and with a kiddies scooter push, toddler dash, 5km walk, 5km ride and 15km ride.

Not the normal kind of 'race' that is advertised here BUT might be a good opportunity for you to the on the podium and get some of the fine cash prizes going on as the field isn't going to be too hectic or big! Sneaky huh?

If not then just come on down, get happy, enjoy the vibe and if you're actually a Micklefield parent then we can connect and say g'day.

Bookings are open for the Micklefield MTB, to be held at the magnificent De Grendel Estate on Saturday 14 October 2017 (the first Saturday of Term 4).

There will be two cycle races - a 15km & 5km - and thanks to sponsorship from Olympic Cycles, incredible cash prizes to be won for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. There is a Toddler Dash for the enthusiastic littlies (2-5 years) on their scooters / pedal pushers and also a 5km WALK on a route with breathtaking views. The morning has been scheduled so that the entire family can participate in any or all of the events on offer:

08:30  15km CYCLE         R150 entry    Olympic Cycle Cash Prizes: 1st - R2000. 2nd - R1000, 3rd - R500

09:00  TODLER DASH     Free

09:30  5km CYCLE           R100 entry    Olympic Cycle Cash Prizes: 1st - R1000, 2nd - R750, 3rd - R500

10:30  5km WALK             R50 entry

Bookings can be made through Quicket by clicking on the link:  Micklefield MTB & 5KM WALK

Please note that each rider's/ walker's full name will need to be provided on their ticket as you purchase online.

Please note that there is a R5 service fee per ticket, to a maximum of R10 per transaction. Online bookings will close 2 days prior to the event and cash entries will be available at the event.

Any Q's then you can PM me as well.

Great to see this is happening again! What about the 35 kay race?

Tom

Apparently there were very few entries last year so they dropped it back and added a walk / run.
