Polar Beat App

I use Polar H10 HR strap and the Polar Beat App to track my rides.

 

It has happened twice now that I have started a ride and it has ended up not recording it.

 

Any tips on what I could be doing wrong?

Happened to me as well, I just assumed I didn't start it properly.

There was a problem between the App and vitality. Check the messages under devices on vitality webpage

Not the issue, the Polar Beat app itself just turned itself off after a 100m!!

Seems like you can run Strava simultaneously, so will try that for a while, at least have that ride data and only lose the Vitality points

How do you get Strava to work simultaneously?  Would be nice to see more ride stats ie. ascent. On another point re the H10 strap, my wife has one and we rode Suikerbosrand last Sunday and she used it with the inbuilt memory mode as her phone battery was not that great, it only recorded time,HR and calories so she was mighty pissed off with no distance and speed readings. Seems like the memory function only records the basics( makes total sense to me).

You can get Polar beat to send the data (sync) to Strava which I have been doing but yesterday I tested Starting the Polar Beat App and then starting Strava and they both recorded fine.

In Strava, after pressing record, click on the menu on the top left then on External sensors and pair your HR strap (Iphone Stava App)
