Would like to know why is their Trek Calibers for sale?

 

Also dont see alot off them.Looking at buying on,due to the "softail aspect" like BMC and Look 989 bikes.Also dont see a lot off Look 989 mtb at the races?

 

Any feedback will be great.

It is fairly common at this time of year for brands to put the "previous" year models on sale...

 

The Iso Speed system on the ProCaliber works really well though, I have ridden one and was surprised at how well it soaks up the bumps - it takes a bit of getting used to though as initially it feels as though your rear tyre is flat...

 

In terms of the Look bikes I think that may come down to the initial cost of the bike being slightly higher...

You don't see a lot of these bikes at events because most South Africans seem to think that there are only 3 brands available in the country. Scott, Specialized and Giant.
