FOX 40 rc2 stiffened up?

I stuck my 40s on my bike today, and found out i can knock barely 20% sag out of it

with low speed and high speed,preload all on slowest settings

normally i got 40% sag if it was at lowest settings

 

I dont remember the thing being this stiff either, has been on my desk since August, not exactly sure if springs will get stiff over time from no use.

its due for it slower leg service. also very sloppy and slow

 

will the service solve most of this or does it need a full rebuild?

 

Ordered seals awhile ago and the shipping mucked up and still waiting pffffft

cant send it in till they come...

You've been due a lowers service on that thing for months. Do it. Now. Before you write the fork off.

Do lowers anyway, even if the seals aren't here. It's better than nothing.
