Lycan bikes for juniors

Hi. Just want to know if the Lycan is a decent make to purchase - for my son. Sportmans Warehouse has 26 inch on promo. He is 9 but can fit a 26 inch frame and thinking it will also last. Had cheap bikes from Makro before that we are constantly fixing (gears always playing up). Is the Lycan reliable? Good gear system? TIA!

I know this is a month old. There is nothing wrong with Lycan for a child. They seem to bridge the gap between the cheap and nasty and high end bikes
