Garmin Forerunner 35

Acquired a Garmin Forrunner 35 to track steps, running as well as cycling. (Steps are needed for Active Days in Multiple)

 

Now the silly thing is not loading the steps I have done in a day onto Garmin Connect. I am also having issues syncing with my phone, a Hauwei P10 Lite.

 

Anyone got any advise please?

Perhaps a stupid Question. But

 

You sure the Activity tracking is on? 

Look under settings. 

 

Also on the Garmin Connect Website. 

Your profile there. 

Make sure Activity Tracking is on there as well. 

Otherwise it gets  disabled on the watch every time you sync. (I think) 

 

Look top right under "Devices and Sync Status"

Does Garmin Connect indicate that the watch is connected? There should be a little refresh button next to the watch's icon on the app ( I am assuming that you are doing this via the mobile app)

 

Ensure the phone is visible in the Bluetooth menu

 

If you are struggling to connect to the app, re-pair the devices
