Seriously? Is this for all eventualities and / or medical schemes?

I think only if after crash your brain bleeds in a few places (4 in my case) and swells (luckily very short term for me and no skull op was necessary to release pressure.

So definitely not every hit = 6 months

Surgeons eill determine this and note if 6 months min is necessary.

My rehab experience was an eye opener as to how a crash can effect your brain for months and patient will not be aware as to how bad it actually is.

I think you are perhaps rather implying that the doctors orders are you must make as much effort not to bump your head within the 6 months after the injury because your head will still be delicate.

I'll have to ask surgeons as Google doesn't clarify who dictates this and what consequences are if you drive...

 

I was told Neuro would have to approve first to drivw before 6 months then 2 other surgeons who operated on me (long and pelvis plate) also have to approve... no idea why this is required from a legal / Med aid perspective.

I still need 4-6 weeks for enough strength in my leg but after that...

 

Perhaps Hubbers know / have experience / knowledge with / of this?
