Many braved the rain and cold to pledge their condolences, thanks to all the organizers for arranging this. No thanks to Metro who were not represented but instead saw it fit to place 5 metro cars to monitor a speed trap on the route.

yeah I get the feeling metro are not interested in helping at all.

 

incidentally, I split from the group on elizabeth to head straight home, there were about 3 or 4 of us that carried on up to North Rand rd, Emergi Med then took it upon themselves to stop the traffic on North Rand rd to let us pass through. Big Thumbs up to them.

Thumbs up to the security companies, m/cyclist, ambulances etc that ferried us safely through on the route.
