Went to the post office this morning to pick up my copy of Seasons....the new dvd by The Collective

Just finished watching it. It is truly beautiful. These guys have certainly raised their game since ROAM in '06.

Even more impressive and beautiful cinematography, great soundtrack and incredible riding.

They follow seven riders over the course of a year, basically breaking it up into winter, spring, summer and fall, hence the title.

The focus is not so much on the riding as it is in your typical MTB dvd, but don't think that's a bad thing. The riding is still the main component, but it's got a completely different feel to the other dvd series out there, even different to the ROAM and The Collective dvds.

It's certainly a lot more interesting and gives you a good idea of what the riders are about as opposed to just showing you what they're capable of on a bike.

It really is something special. Get your hands on a copy!

Got mysef a copy from www.sportsflicks.com. They were running a pre-order special(that got extended after it became available....not sure if it still is) whereby you could choose another dvd from a shortlist for free

It is also available on www.chainreactioncycles.com

I'll agree with you there MintSauce! Its not like these small independant film crews make millions like the big hollywood film houses!

Kranked 7 is cool, i must admit that i was a little disappointed with seasons tho. Didn't feel as tho they lived up to roam and the collective.

Great cinematography as is to be expected of this film making outfit, but i feel as tho it just lacked something, cant quite put my finger on what.

Yup, mike always gets the latest vids as they land, well, either him or me, a buddy of ours brings em all in. PM me if any1's ever looking for titles they cant seem to find.
