I wonder how the Mexican law will deal with this guy.

Isn't the driver an American citizen though? You may very well find that Mexican law has no say...

i think the victim was a yank' date=' but the driver a mexican.

Campos (the driver) said he is a U.S. citizen living in Brownsville. The USA Consulate could not immediately confirm that.

From several sites...

They also say the federales have charged him with murder, but like I said, the yanks look after their own...

Here's another thought to deal with Mr Cliff.

Large companies are putting in a fair wack of money into cycling, toyota, standard bank neotel, mtn are a few that spring to mind. These are the very same companies that advertise on 5fm. Now the reality is that standard bank is not going to suddenly pull their advertising, however, there must be more than as few high place execs who cycle. Perhaps it's time for them to get "inspired, motivated, involved" and whisper in a few ears about Gareth's shortcomings.

great sentiment, but the only problem with that is i don't think the big corporates have the political will to get involved in that.

Ever need a chuckle, check out uncylopedia. A satirist's delight. Some stuff is pretty basic/offensive though, but most is a hoot!

Search for Robert Mugabe and South Africa for starters...

I like this bit from the Mugabe page:

In March of 2007, Mugabe welcomed his MDC brothers into parliament with

celebratory fireworks, rockthrowing, and gunshots, showing his

appreciation for opposing ideas. He then commissioned an official

state-paid massage for Morgan Tsvangirai,

which he received from three masseuses wearing ski-masks and

brandishing clubs. Mugabe admits that maybe they may have worked on his

hamstrings "too well".
