Upgrade from 2 X 10 to 1 X 12

So i decided its time to upgrade my 5 year old TREK Superfly 100. Currently running SRAM XO 2 X 10 and looking to change to 1 X 12.

 

I want to get the SRAM GX EAGLE upgrade kit like this from CWC

I am running HOPE PRO2 EVO hub on the back, and assume i will also need a new free body to take the 12spd cassette

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what free hub i need to get ?

 

My cranks are SRAM XO GXP, and i want to get a 34T NW oval direct mount chainring. Its the standard setup and not boost.

 

I see there a various makes offering the chainring i want, but confused by the 3mm & 6mm offset offered, i'm thinking the 3mm offset

 

Which one should i use ?

On the chainring offset, get 6mm. The 3mm offset is for boost setups.

 

As for your freehub, give any bike shop a call and they will be able to order it for you from International Trade. If they are out of stock you can order one on Chain Reaction Cycles.

Oh, and make sure your frame has clearance for a 36t chainring before ordering the 34 oval - it will be the same size as a 36t at it's biggest side.

My 2 X 10 is 39/26 so i'm sure the 34 oval should clear
