Sram Level levers with Guide callipers: any reason not to?

Is there any reason not to use a Sram Level lever with a Guide calliper? The hose fittings are the same, but I’m wondering if there might be a difference in leverage ratios or something. Externally the levers look like they probably have similar piston bores.

One way to find out....do it if the brakes feel spongy or terrible then it doesn't/wasn't meant to be...

 

I have fitted different Shimano calipers to different levers over the years and never had an issue...
