Thule roof carrier and carbon frames

Recommended Posts

I've had nightmares about this!

you have to be OUTSIDE your garage to fit the bikes on the roof .... when you close the garage door place the remote in the cubby-hole ..... you now cant open it "out of habit".

Also as you drive along you always notice the bike shadow all around your vehicle ....

never say never ... but you are actually more aware of it than I thought originally.

Places like Augrabies my wife had to get out and guide me into the fuel station ..... any lower and I would have to take the bike off to put fuel in.  :whistling:

BEST place for a bike when you are doing long distances on gravel ....

That torque limiter seems waaay too tight for me. I stop long before it hits the limiter - no need for it to be that tight.

I would tend to agree actually.... I make sure the wheel straps are properly tight as the arm is just there to keep the bike upright
