You are missing a series name there... Giant bikes are usually either a "Defy", "TCR", Propel", "OCR" etc etc... cannot compare without that as most in those series come as "advanced" meaning its got a carbon frame, "Pro" meaning its higher grade carbon usually than the plain "advanced" and usually has a carbon steerer tube on the fork. The 1, 2, 3 etc refers to the other bits and the groupset. Usually a 2 has 105 and a 1 has Ultegra - 0 Dura Ace etc etc...
IceCreamMan Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 If affordable the pro version is a marginally better bike frame wise an components may be slightly better. They are normally around 15 to 20k more than the non pro version for each version.
s14phoenix Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 the Pro has full carbon steerer tube on fork vs alloy steerer on the other It also seems to have carbon wheels vs alloy wheels. ultegra/105 mix groupset vs full 105 group ultegra hydraulic brakes vs giant branded hydraulic brakes. so the pro has a lot of nicer specs vs the non pro. and should be lighter also
