First Ever Enduro Race In South Africa?

I am interested to know which was the very first Enduro race in South Africa?

 

I have it as the Stihl Karkloof Enduro on 21/04/2012, which formed part of the the Mr Price Karkloof Classic Festival. It consisted of 2 by roughly 4.5km stages, and had 83 starters.

Does anyone know of any older South African Enduro races?

There was one a while ago in Mpumalanga, a young Bryce Munro won it on his XC Cannondale wearing his XC kit. 
Not sure of the year/date though.

It's between Karkloof festival Enduro and the Mankele Avalanche (kind of Enduro)

Not sure which one started first.

 

Bryce was the only one who EVER did Avalanche as a proper Enduro format by riding to the start of each stage, crazy mofo. So if you consider that the Avalanche the riders get lifts to the start then the first true #Enduro in SA is the Karkloof festival.
