BB386 FSA Gossamer Pro Conversion to Shimano 105

Morning Everyone,

 

Some tech help would be much appreciated. I have a Specialized Tarmac with a FSA Gossamer Crank and BB386 Adapter in the attached photo 

 

The crankset needs replacing to a Shimano 105 Crankset. I need some guidance on what I would need to do this?

 

From my research so far I believe that I could source an adapter for this. However having chatted to a couple of people using an adapter with a old BB would not be best practice. 

 

Or do I need a new BB & Adapter - if that is the case could someone point me in the right direct in terms of a BB that I should choose.

Beauty of these is that once you fit the shell you can replace the bearings without removing it. Both out of stock in RSA!  You should be able to get online.
