Hi

Anyone else struggle to clean these rotors?

A wash with my normal muck off bike soap don't do the trick, even with heavy brushing / scrubbing...

I would consider to go for the black Dura Ace version:

or even a custom paint job like this: (not so bright though  )

"STP Professional Heavy Duty Brake Parts Cleaner assists in the prevention of uneven breaking, noise and chattering by quickly dissolving and washing away lining dust, brake fluid, oily road film and grit to leave, without disassembly. Uneven braking, noise and chattering can be caused by brake shoe and pad lining dust, brake fluid seepage, and slippery road film that contaminates brake drums and discs. STP Heavy Duty Brake Parts Cleaner will help improve brake action for smoother and

more dependable performance"

Do you spray it on while on the hub? / no problems with bearings?

Have you tried isopropyl alcohol?

I chuck it on a cotton swab and wipe off the rotors. Don't need to worry about it getting into bearings etc. that way

An update - neither vehicle brake part cleaner or alcohol clean the 'matt' area of the Ice Tech rotors. It is as if the marks are chemically etched into the alloy :(
