Hub Conversion

Hi Guys, 

 

I'm looking to convert a set of Roval wheels to 15mm front and the rear to an 8mm in the rear, both of them are currently 12mm through axel if memory serves me correctly. 

 

Do you know if this is possible, and where the best place to have it done? Or is selling them and buying wheels that are already correct is more beneficial?

 

They will be used for commuting so i don't want to spend too much on them.

From recent research here are my comments:

 

Most qr (8mm - actually 9mm) frames have 135mm hub spacing, that is axle end cap to end cap is 135mm. A wider hub 142 or 145 wound not fit.

 

Now, most hub manufacturers make it so that you can just replace the end caps in the axle.

If they're convertible your local Spez shop will have the adapters, if not they can get them for you.
