Can you reliably increase the travel of a 2017 Specialized Camber?

I also ride a Camber Comp, with 120mm Revelation.

 

Just curios, how much did the Pike set you back? Would it be feasible to go 140mm on the Revelation? I would also like to ramp up the travel, but because of my baby girl draining me of cash flow, I can't just replace a fork at will...

I sold my Reba for R5500 and paid R7000 for the pike.

 

So not in it for too much

 

I suspect you might be able to get a bit more for the revelation should you wish to go the same route.

 

I don't know whether you can increase travel on it though.

Have a look at the RockShox Trailhead app. Input the fork ID and it will give you all the fork’s specs as well as listing the upgrades that can be done to it. If it is a 35mm Revelation you might well be able to upgrade the damper and air spring on the Revelation to end up with what essentially is a Pike. Cogent or Stoke can help with parts and advice
