m-squared Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Hallo Expert Hubbers! I have come across a Soma Wolverine with Soma steel fork, SRAM Apex groupset and Avid cable brakes that's selling for R13k. It looks brand spanking new but it doesn't look like the V3. Probably a v1 based on the colour scheme. My question, is that a fair value for the bike? It's not light, but should have tire clearance and steel twang for a super plush ride. I’m running SRAM Force Hydro but was considering cable hydro for a new build. Not s fan of the TRP non hydro cable brakes.

Not s fan of the TRP non hydro cable brakes.They are probably less precise, but the stopping power is great and more than enough. A FAR cry better than any cable brakes. Easy to set up, easy to run and they don't add much in the way of weight. You're welcome to swing a leg over my bike if you're in Muizenberg any time soon.
