Hi There Cyclists

I am looking to purchase a Thule hang on bike carrier to transport 3 off medium frame mountain bikes on my wife's Ford Eco Sport.

I have been advised that even though I only need to carry 3 bikes, I will be better off to purchase a 4 bike carrier and use it as a 3 bike carrier as 3 bikes is a very tight fit on the 3 bike carrier.

Do any of you perhaps have experience in this regard?

Any tips regarding hang on racks will be appreciated.

Safe Riding

GOD bless

Every "3-bike" carrier I have ever used has been a "3 road bike" carrier and I've really struggled to squeeze 3 MTBs onto them (in some cases I couldn't get all 3 on without the bikes damaging each other).

I would also suggest getting the 4 bike rack if you are transporting MTBs.

Makes sense, thank you for the advice J.
