Shebeen Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I've never understood why SA teams rate this race so highly. according to https://www.procyclingstats.com/rankings/me/pcs/racesthis is abut the 230th biggest race according to startlist quality(ie. amount of points/rankings of the entrants) team DDD taking world tour riders there is seriously sandbagging, so good move from them
Zatopek Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 Valid comment - and little (recent) results to show for it. If one look at the ranking of the early 2000's during the heyday its a bit better - as 'low' as 83.... (I have no opinion on what ranking it becomes world tour level competition)

Brendon Davids is back with Oliver's Real Food this year.He did well today in a long breakaway. Friendly as well.... even had time for a hi & wave at the 3de KOM. Got a "hi oom" from the ProTouch team car window. Guess hair coloring is in order...
